The Zite app seems to group by category, not platform. However, I still prefer the interface of FlipBoard to Zite, you’re absolutely right.

I’ve found I love Flipboard on my iPad, as well. It is a nice change from the native formats for Twitter, Facebook, etc., and I can also pull in any blog feed, too. I sort of wish I could ‘mash’ it all together sometimes, instead of having each separate section.

My student activities association just put this one last Friday! It went over very well. We did have some ground rules for them such as no bugs or animals.

Thanks Heather! I put my presentation up on our website…it’s tricky to include video – so I actually downloaded an add-on which uses powerpoint to point to the video on YouTube (instead of embedding it). This is how I learn – by googling ‘how to upload powerpoints to wordpress with embedded video’ and by searching on YouTube about how to use the Magic Extractor in Adobe Elements…and thats what I tell patrons as well! I hope that comes across in the presentation.
